Policies

 

As soon as you know the date of your event, please contact me. I can only accommodate certain number of custom orders weekly due to our limited kitchen space. I recommend a minimum 2 week notification to complete your custom order.  If I'm able to accommodate, there will be a $40 rush fee for orders less than 4 days. Weekend dates usually fill up pretty fast.

The total price of your order depends on the following: number of servings, the complexity of the design, delivery and set up time at the venue (if applicable). 

Deposits/Retainer: A 50% non-refundable payment/retainer is required in order to reserve your order. The payment/retainer amount goes toward the balance of your order. This amount is non-refundable. Payment/Retainer must be paid at time of order placement. If order is placed during the week of event, the full amount of the order will be due. No retainer/payment no exceptions.

 

 Payment: Payments I accept are Credit card  from my invoice site, Cashapp or Zelle.  All of my cakes are custom-made and decorated to order. Since each item is one-of-a-kind,

My cake prices are based on the ingredients used and time required for assembly and decoration.

A non-refundable payment/retainer is required to secure your custom order.   

The balance will be due a week before pickup but can be paid anytime before then.

Cake Pick Up: All orders must be picked up by on 4pm on  date needed (unless other arrangements are made and agreed upon ). 

 

Allergy: I do not have dedicated equipment to produce allergen free desserts so it is important to know that all my sweets are produced in a facility that also processes milk, nuts, wheat and soy.

Cancellation and return policy: If a cake needs to be cancelled, all payments/retainers that have been made are non-refundable. However, payments/retainers that have been made on a cancelled order can be used towards another custom cake. The payments/retainers have to be used within 6 months of the original order's event date.

Any changes (date, color, size, decoration, etc.) to the order must be done one week prior to pick up or there will be an additional charge of  $20 to change the order.

 

 

 

*****PICKING UP YOUR CAKE******

When picking up your cake, please keep the following in mind:

Drive slow- no sudden stops, no sudden acceleration, no sharp turns, etc… Keep your car COLD.

Keep your cake refrigerated in the box provided until 2-3 hours before serving. DO NOT FREEZE!!!

Cake and icing are very fragile,  leaving it in the car in hot weather or leaving it in your warm home in hot weather, can cause damage that I'm not responsible for.

If any of the above occur after you have picked up the cake which results in damage to the cake, I will not be responsible for any of the damage or consequential damages or expenses that you incur.
